What does Basket Fetch do?
Choose recipes, and Basket Fetch brings the ingredients together, searches your selected supermarket, chooses suitable products and builds your basket. You review the choices and complete checkout with the supermarket.
Is it a meal delivery service?
Your groceries come from your supermarket. Basket Fetch helps with the shopping from recipes through to a basket ready for your review. You choose your own meals and delivery or collection arrangements with the supermarket.
Can I use the recipes without the app?
Yes. Browse recipes and use the complete ingredients and cooking instructions on this website. You can print a recipe, share its link and tick off ingredients and steps while cooking.
Where are my saved recipes stored?
When you are signed out, saves stay in this browser on this device. Clearing website data removes them. When accounts are available, signing in lets you save recipes to your account and access them on other devices.
Which supermarkets is the app being built for?
In the UK: Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA and Morrisons. In the US: Walmart, Kroger, ALDI US and Publix. Availability will depend on your location and the supermarket’s services. App download links and launch details will appear on the app page.
What if I already have an ingredient?
The app keeps pantry suggestions, optional ingredients and unresolved items visible for you to review. You decide what you need before completing your shop.
Can I change the products it chooses?
Yes. Reviewing the basket is part of the process. Check quantities, substitutions, dietary suitability and supermarket availability, and make changes before checkout.
Does Basket Fetch take my supermarket payment?
No. You complete checkout directly with your supermarket. Basket Fetch does not place the final order or take your supermarket payment.
Can I share my own recipes?
Community publishing is being prepared. Once accounts and uploads open, you will be able to create a draft, add your own photo, request a recipe review and choose when to publish. Only publish recipes and photos you have permission to share.
What does recipe review check?
The review looks for usable ingredient amounts, clear instructions and consistency between the ingredients and method. It can make mistakes. Creators can revise their recipe or ask for human review; the review does not silently rewrite their work.
Can I change the servings on the website?
The website shows each recipe’s published servings or batch yield. It keeps the original amounts and instructions together. The app handles supported serving adjustments when you build a shop.
Is the app available yet?
Not yet. The app page will show official download links when it is available. In the meantime, the public recipes are ready to browse and cook.
